I wasn't sure whether this should be in Off Topic or not but... I think it is a travel issue.

I went to Laos last night. It was great. I had long wanted to go back. Best of all, it didn't cost a thing, and I was back in Sheffield in time for work.... The trip was only flawed by my lack of footwear, or Lao Kip, and of course, waking up in my own bed, because yes, it was all a dream.

I am fortunate enough to have a lot of very realistic dreams, frequently transporting me to places I have travelled before (even as a child) and it is like being there.

But its REAL.

And sometimes i get to go to places I haven't been before. Last Saturday morning I went to China.

Does anybody else experience this, if so, tell us about your travels.

My dream at the begining was wonderful...
enjoying the sea.....not sure where's it but it looks like Fiji or Tahiti because before i went to sleep, i watched Globe Trekker where Ian Wright was in Tahiti...
And suddenly my alarm woke me up......
ok, time to go to work...

I never have very vivid dreams, just those too-weird-to-be-true ones that you know, even when you're alseep, aren't really happening. Only 1 friend gets what I mean by "it was our old school but it wasn't, plus the classrooms were spaceships and the teachers were dressed as Labradors." It's a step up from Neal, though, who regularly vaults screaming from bed convinced someone is hiding in the corner. Or asking who the hell I am.

I always I get this vivid dream that I travel with UFO people to another world that there is not, greed, hunger, war, and negative energies around,
but then each time my neighbor wake me up by shouting at her poor husband
then I realize that I am still here in this bloody cruel world !

I totally get what you mean. The dreams I have are usually like that -- you knew it was that place, but somehow it was not the same.

In Laos I saw the rare Asian Hippopotamus, while walking barefoot through dense jungle.

Yesterday or maybe this morning , i visited bali for 4d3n.
I saw lots of sea gulls and panda bear
and witness a complete beautiful sunrise.

Not completely sweet , my 'ex' broke up with me again.

I can't recall if i ever had them

I've got no intention to go off topic but it seems, when you're walking barefooted in dense jungle and saw an Asian hippo or being in Bali with a mix of bittersweet moment, there are hidden message which i think it's much related to the innermost of our heart..maybe.

Clarabell, it sounds like you are one of the lucky people who experience astral flight. Have you heard of this phenomenon? Google it if you haven't - it's really cool. If it's as real as you say, who knows, you might really be there, on some level. I'd love to dream like that - my dreams are vivid enough, but not so vivid that I know in my heart I've been away on the other side of the world while I slept. Keep flying!
