I've lost the button to edit posts that I've written - is it just me or has the feature been removed?

Correction - only some posts can't be edited . . . .

So far as I know, it's a time-limited thing. You can only edit for a short while after you post.

Aaaah, that would splain it . . . .

Katherine is correct, you have an hour to edit your posts. After that - it's POOF!!! Edit button gone bye-bye.

What have poofs got to do with being able to edit my post?

My edit button is missing too.
Not permanently, I hope.
I often see mistakes after I post, or think of something else I want to add.

Leaving the edit function there any longer can create havoc in threads when someone has already quoted something, replied and then the original is changed. It just causes confusion. Posts can not, and should not, be changed on a whim regardless of the time lapse.
