Sewer tour

Is this a guided walking tour or a bus tour. How long it lasts

Arif

It's a guided walking tour and you'll probably be down there for 1-2 hours depending on how long you spend reading the historical info after the tour and how long you can stand the smell! it sounds awful but its good honestly :)

1-2 hrs near the drain wud be enough i think:)

anyway thanks Rebecca for providing info on something which i had never heard of..

Hello Arif:)

Get there early, because there is always a long long Q, outside the Louvre Museum.
If u could get there before anybody else, in the morning, it may save u from standing in the Q for hours.
Try being there an hour before the museum opens. Hopefully others wont show up so early. Maybe if u do get stuck in a long Q, u and your friends can take turns standing in it, so some of u can go to a cafe or something for a while.
It should be easy to buy tickets. I think u can buy them, as u enter the museum.
About other things to do. U cant miss the Eifel tower.
And what about a boat ride along the Seine.

Very close to Notre Dame at the Palais de Justice is Sainte-Chapelle church with magnificent stained glass windows. There are beautiful places in Paris but none more beautiful late in the afternoon as the sun streams through the windows. Rest and relax and enjoy.

I never heard of online booking for the tickets.
The Louvre is popular, and that is why there is such a big Q always waiting to get in.
The actual buying of the ticket only takes a minute. It is waiting in the line of peolple wanting to get into the museum that takes so long.

It would be better if i reach there early in the morning to avoid long Q. Mel, if i spend 3-4 hrs inside the museum will i be able to see at least the major collections of the museum. I know i would have to return back again to Louvre sometime later to marvel at the full collection

I am not the right person to ask that question to, Arif.
I never really developed an appreciation for art, so do not know how long it would take to see everything, in the Louvre, for those who know what they are looking at.:)

I just saw the glass pyramid, Arif.
My flight was several hours before the flight of my ex boyfriend who was in Paris with me.
I did not want to stand in the long line, so my ex decided he would go into the Louvre, after I left.
He stood in line, for 2 hours. He got to the top of the line. Then he tured the corner, and discovered that he had only got half way along the line. When he finally got into the museum after 4 hours in the in the Q, he only had time to see the Mona lisa.
