Thats really scary incident, mel :(

Waiting 4 hours to get the ticket... i wud better get there before the gates open so that i dont return empty handed just seeing the glass pyramid

Yeah, get a take away breakfast, and have a picnic, outside the museum doors, so u will be ready to grab the first ticket of the day.;)
At least u are not going to be there in July. That would be even worse.

I still believe that u can buy tickets online to the Louvre. I will try posting a fresh thread to this effect, maybe that helps

U could try that, of course Arif.;)
My current boyfriend has been in the Louvre.
He said he saw most of what is in there. It took him a week.

Spending a week in Louvre, that is quite an achievement:)

Was he really seeing the collections at Louvre or was he part of the film crew that spent a week shooting in Louvre for the film "Da Vinci Code";)

He said the Louvre is huge and he needed to go there everyday for a week, in order to see everything. :)

i hope they too give a weekly pass likes the ones used in pubic transportation:)
