I'm going to Krakow for the weekend in November. Apart from Auschwitz, what are the other places I should see? Also, I love jazz - does anyone know of any good jazz bars in Krakow?
Thanks, Bex.

Hello Bex:)

The whole city of Krakow is like one big museum.
It is a beautiful medieval place.

The Old town is really beautiful, yet quite small. The market square (rynek glowny) with the sukiennice in the middle is really beautiful. Grodzka and florianska streets - with florianska gate in the end-, there's also some kind of theatre situated almost outside the old town,... as mel said theres plenty to see, and you won't need much time to get it done.
Outside the old town you have the Wawel hill, with the castle at the top, and the cathedral inside the walls of the castle, and the Kazimierz, the old jewish district which is also worth seeing

You could also do a day trip to the nearby salt mine - I haven't been, but have heard it is very good.
