As my country celebrates its 50th Independence from British rule today, tell us, what are your best travel memories of Malaysia?
Is it the natural wonders, the hospitability of Malaysians or just plain good Malaysian gastronomy?
Happy Merdeka (and that translates to Happy Independence!)
Happy 50th Birthday Malaysia!!
Happy Independence Day to all my Malaysian friends!!!
The foods are GREAT!!!
happy birthday Malaysia
my best travel memories of malaysia would be a very early morning game of golf in the Cameron Highlands and
watching the sun come up from the top of Kota Kinabalu. the great people and food were to be found everywhere and i hope to be back to help you celebrate your birthday soon
happy independence day!
my favourite memories of Malaysia are Taman Negara national park, and the jungle train from Kota Bahru.
Also there is a place near the big bus station in KL which does the best Roti Chennais ever! i first went there in 2001 and when i went back last year they were as good as ever. it's open 24 hours a day.
Happy Merdeka to all my Malaysian friends
I liked Kuala Lumpur very much. It was quite colourful when i visited it and enjoyed the ride on the sky train. Then lunch at the top of KL tower(Minera) was something i still remember. The sight of Petronas tower dazzling at night was certainly a visual treat.
the people are so friendly and warm. i also liked the traditional malaysian cuisine especially the Malaysian Parantha
borneo... seeing the iban tribe!
My best travel memories in Malaysia is seeing tapirs in the Taman Negara national park and Pulau Tioman which has very good snorkeling sites a few meters away from the shore!
Oh and I almost forgot the roti canai, absolutely delicious
