Hi this Lee, planed to get married next November. We have plan to visit Switzerland for our honeymoon. What is the best time to visit there. Need your suggestion regarding places to visit and things to do out there i have already seen www.asiarooms.com for accommodations as my father avails their service for his business trip and I have previously used their servoces, but not sure about which portal to refer for accommodation in Switzerland. Need your suggestion to plan my trip better.

Switzerland will cost you an arm and a leg, but it's magnificent. We just spent 4 days in Interlaken this past July, at a beautiful B&B called Rugenpark (we booked it here through TP). The weather was rainy (all of northern Europe was rainy for awhile), but relatively warm. Good for hiking and walking around. If you need any specifics about Interlaken, ask away. We saw quite a bit in just that little while.

Congratulations and enjoy!

Hallo KenyonLee,

there are two place I suggest you.

The first is near Interlaken in the Berneas Oberland. I almost visit a little village called Wilderswil.
I live there in a private room. Very cheap, beautiful and silent. The only one thing is possible you hear at 6.00 o'clock in the morning is the mooh of the cows or the bells of them

But the village is very nice. You look straight to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In the evening at sun rise a realy beautiful view.

The second place is Ascona in the Tessin at the Lago Maggiore. It's a beautiful town with a nice promenade at the lake. There a lot of Cafes, Bars, Restaurants.
You can take the boat to ship across the lake to the Italian side.
If go by car it's possible to make nice trips through the valleys round the lake. And there are a lot of them.

It's very beautiful too.

Have a nice trip. And I wish you the best for your wedding. I hope you have the same beautiful, lovely and thoughtful wife (or husband?), like I have.
