Well folks,
How is everybody? Basically i'm a graduate physiotherapist who is looking to travel the world for the first time and was hoping for some ideas on how to maximise my travel in terms of route taken. I have done abit of travelling prior and realise that good timing is necessary .

I'm hoping to set out a route to head away this January and was hoping some experienced travellers could point me in the right direction taking weather (hot hopefully), festivals and seasonal activities into account. I was thinking of maybe arriving in Beuno Aires around Christmas time travelling north in time for the Rio festival in February and so on up through central America to North America for the summer to work and travel for a couple of months. Then i was thinking NZ, OZ and on to South east Asia and so on for around aug-dec time.

This is just a vague sketch and would really appreciate any helpful input as no decision is the wrong one. i will be travelling on my own and of course money will be tight but with the right plan none of that matters.
Thanks for your time,

David

how about africa? affordable, great beaches, great weather, beautiful people, safari, and loads more! or how about the strong man competition in mongolia in july? or hang around the states and catch burning man at the end of august. maybe jazz fest in new orleans in april/may. after carnival, check out the caribbean and sit on a beach for a couple of weeks. no matter what you do, you can't go wrong! good luck planning!
