I need some advise traveling to Phuket end of February next year. Would really appreciate some advise on the accommodations, foods and others since this is the first time I will be traveling to Phuket.

How much does it cost for a 5D 4N stay in Phuket?

Hello Ang :)

Accomodation can cost as little as 140 Bahts per night.
U can also get expensive accomodation, if u are looking for something fancy.
If u want the name and address of the 140 Baht place, where I stayed, just send me a private mail. It is in Phukett town.

it depends what type of accommodation you are looking for. I stayed in a great little place called Divers inn for 500 baht per night - that got me en suite, mini bar and tv and free internet in the lobby. it´s in a good location in the hat karon area, away from the main touristy area of Patong.

Just a little info for you ..
From the airport and if you dedice to take the mini van , becareful of the syndicate there
They will stop by in a travel agent where they will persuade you to take accomodation from them. They will give you horror stories that all accomocadation in Phuket is fully occupied. Dont believe that. Stop at Patong and reccee that area. - PLENTY of cheap accomodation.

Oh i miss the Coconut ice blend - a must to have okie ??!! Enjoy the sun sea and sand..

well In Feb there is peak season in Phuket, I had problems in getting accomodation last Feb, there were couple of options available but the range was 600+ bhats,

but i hired a bike, left my backpack there, and explored the whole town while looking for cheap accomodation... got a double room for 400 bhat but that included private bath, & AC...

but you can always book in advance ... :)

I also had a tough time scoring accomodation in Jan/Feb last year and had to do some searching before I secured a room for a few nights then jumped about as rooms became available. If you're not booking before you arrive then I suggest taking rola's advice and grabbing a bike (or walk) and do some hotel hunting as I'm sure there's bound to be rooms available off the main drag!
