Hey kids...

Can anyone help with a fairly urgent problem... does anyone know where I can buy an Australia to Europe adaptor in Barcelona?

I left mine in Madrid (stupid, I know! ) and my camera's about to run out of power...

I'm in Barcelona until Monday morning so if anyone knows of a place and can let me know before then, that would be fantastic

I have no knowledge of Barcelona, but for places that would stock these, look for (in order of likelihood):

  • The biggest hotels you can find. They should have little shops inside, which are very likely to sell these things. (If they don't, ask at their reception for where to find this. They'll think you're a guest and be very helpful.)
  • Small electronics/hardware stores.
  • Big department stores, at their travel section (where they sell suitcases e.a.) - Sometimes these have a stand right next to those with some "universal" adaptors and other basic travel accessories.

If the adaptor you need is like the ones you would need for british devices I bought one some weeks ago in a chinese shop, it costed just 1´50 and still works.
In Barcelona you will find chinese shops on every corner (not this often if you are in the city centre).
Good luck!

Check the big FNAC in Plaça Catalunya, they sell plenty of electronics stuff so you might be lucky

hi there!

1-yeah, try in any chinese shop (tons of them in Barcelona).

2-FNAC (plaça Catalunya) is also a good option.

3-I recomend Ronda Sant Antoni (close to Plaça Universitat - 10 min walking from pl Catalunya) full of electronic devices stores.

good luck!!

Don't panic..try El Corte Ingles.. they are large shopping centres.. you can also try Al Campo.
