Im starting this thread early due to the time period of the possible meet up. I know l have sent many of you a PM with scant details just to get the ball rolling BUT

We were hoping to plan a Travellerspoint Meet Up in late Dec 07/Jan 08 - l know for many this is a time for friends and family so l thought if l got the message out quickly we could possibly arrange something! We will have Tina (Tway) and Hien over in the country hopefully in late Dec so we thought it would be a good opportunity (ahem excuse!) for a get together.

SO l have a few questions to pose:

A Are you interested in a TP meet up in late Dec 07/early Jan 08?

B Destination - we were thinking either Dublin (as in the Sept 06 meet up) or perhaps Belfast

C Dates - would 28-30 Dec 07 or 4-6 Jan 08 be more suitable? Dont worry if you can only join us for a
day during these dates or you come along for the entire weekend - all is good!

ANYWAY - l really appreciate any input and the general thoughts and feelings out there!

Look forward to hearing your ideas!

Heather

Hey Heather!

A: Count me in anyway. I have a few bones to pick with those two so they're not going to escape ME while they're in the country!

B: Dublin is best for me really, but I wouldn't rule out Belfast if the general consensus is for there. Havent been there for years, so I'd like to see it again.

C: 28-30 December suits me best too. I'm going to Rome for a few days from 8th Jan, so heading up to Dub/Belfast the weekend just before might be a bit awkward.

That's my tuppence worth anyway. :)

Looking forward to it.

Either weekend is good for me! Can't wait to see you guys (again)!

(And make sure those two troublemakers mikeyboab and Jase007 don't find out. I hear they just sit around and whine that they forgot their wallets.)

The Elusive Tall Blonde Dutchman will be making an appearance??? Without being highjacked into it???

Damn! Isa and Beerman miss all the good stuff... Oh well, we have our memories of Dublin and forcing Bardamu to show up. Flaunt beer under his nose. ;)

Now that my working holiday visa is approved, I'm definitely going to be there, Dublin or Belfast!

So all of you in the UK and Ireland can start preparing a grand reception for me. Expected date of arrival: 10-12 December.

Ok - out of conveince for me and those who will be in Northern Ireland - can l be totally selfish and vote for BELFAST on 28-30 Dec??? (Ive got so much on in Jan - course residentials, hen party and a wedding!)

Can we solidify that so that people can make travel plans? Do we have an AYE in the house????

Someone - Anyone??????
