Besides hitchhiking... hehe.. it's clear.

I found trains a bit expensive, and only berths available, no seats. (or am I wrong?)

I don't know if buses are available and could be cheaper/better???

I've checked flights, and didn't get any good fare.

Thanks so much! :)

TRAIN: SHANGHAI -- Kowloon (HK) 1991kilometres
K99(A,B)
Departure: 17:09
Arrival: next day13:03
Last time: 19 hours and 54 minutes
Price: 226(seat) 395(semi cushioned berth) 627(cushioned berth)

It is better to buy the tickey several days in advance. If no ticket left, you can consider buy ticket of SHANGHAI to GUANGZHOU EAST STATION, then transfter direct express train(HK$195) to HK.

Air ticket price: 920 up

No bus available because of long distance.

I think the cheapest for hk to Shanghai is 580 HK dollars: hard sleeper.
