Had a great time watching the Springboks trounce England in Center City Philly yesterday afternoon! Lots of celebratory pints flowing all around with a rousing good crowd. We all ducked out of work early to make the match. Was anyone at the game in France? Must have been a great time.

We all know the All Blacks are on top...but the question is, will they win this time?

He he he he he he. Giggle. Giggle. Snigger. Guffaw.

Enjoyed that, I did.

At least we put up a decent second half showing in a game we were expecting to loose anyway. Feel sorry for the Georgian's as they probably should have got something from that game, and congrats to the Portuguese for keeping it under a 100pt margin.

And what about the baseball World Series???

I can't understand the obsession with soccer (called football by those who know no better). This is a skillful game, but the most boring spectacle ever devised. No wonder the poor bored fools who watch it riot in the stands so much! I watched some of last year's world cup (middle of the night here in Australia) and found it the best cure for insomnia ever. Someone told me later there were a few goals scored, but this was not evident to me. Still, I was asleep during most of the matches. There is more action in ten minutes of either Rugby code than the entire soccer tournament!

I suppose soccer seems good to those who are ignorant of the other football codes, just as a young man thinks ice cream is the best until he discovers sex!
