Hi,

We're looking for a beach resort for our honeymoon in either Mozambique or Kenya in early June next year for 10 days and wondered if anyone could advise on which has a better climate or better resorts?

There are loads of very nice beach resorts along the coastline of Southern Mozambique. These tend to be very exclusive if this is what you are looking for. There isn't a lot in the "in between" catagory.

Another thought, as I saw that you want to do a safari as well, is South Africa. There are some new exclusive Beach/Safari Resorts along the coastline of Kwazulu-Natal. They cater to honeymooners as well.

The north coast of Zanzibar, Nungwi and Kendwa area, is only a short flight from Nairobi

Nungwi is beautiful! If you didn't care where you did your safari, you could always watch game in Tanzania too!

Kenya would be an amazing place to think of. The country has it all!! One is spoilt with the big five here among other animals. Kenya has a coast-line stretching over 500km and the beach hotels are great. I would suggest that you plan for your safari in such a way that you would enjoy both the wild and the beaches here.y 04

Maybe you would think of the following plan:-

Day 01 - Ol Pajeta Ranch
Day 02 - Aberdare National Park
Day 03 - Lake Nakuru National Park
Day 04 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Day 05 - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Day 06 - Mombasa/Malindi/ lamu
Day 07 - Mombasa/Malindi/Lamu
Day 08 - Mombasa/Malindi/Lamu
Day 09 - Mombasa/Malindi/Lamu
Day 10 - Depart

A programme like the one above gives you a great opportunity to have the best of Kenya. Accomodation ranges from up-market to budget in each of these places..

Welcome to Kenya, unmask East Africa with us!!
