My map is screwed up, I haven't been able to update it since I left home, so will have to try to delete it or add a new one. (Sorry, I meant to ask for help with this on the forum, but have been behind. It's hard driving and touring all day, then trying to update the blog at night - but it's definitely worth it!)

It doesn't look so bad, some of the dots just need connecting! On the plus side, when I click on the little dots I see tons of pictures mapped, so that's very nice! You probably just need to update this one rather that start over, but it is one of those things that is sometimes easier to do after returning than while you are still on the road Enjoy the travelling!!

Thanks, I don't know what you did but the last time I tried to Edit the Map, I just got system error messages (I forgot to write these down of course).

It's a lot easier for me to update the map & blog on as current a basis as possible (not wait until after I get back) - I have very poor memory.

I have added the daily stops on our trip so far, looks like it might be a good idea to go back and add some notes later.

By the way, could you folks add "RV" as a method of travel for this? I used "Car", but it's not a very good fit. Thanks.

I forgot to ask, would it be a lot of trouble to add an option on the Bulk Uploader to use the PC File Name as the Description?

Maybe I'm the only one doing this, but I've been renaming the pictures on the PC as a way to distinguish which ones to resize and upload. (Believe it or not, I am only uploading a fraction of the ones I take!) Anyway, the bulk uploader is great as is, but if I didn't have to type in the description again after uploading, it would be even better...

Thanks.

Do you want to use the file name as the description or as the title? I did consider that it would make some sense to default the title to the file name. If at least one person agrees with me, I might just push to get it done ;)

I agree and disagree.

It would be nice since often I can't be bothered changing the title but now I have to.

On the downside, it essentially means that you get all these really non descriptive titles and photos and it becomes harder to find photos on a certain topic (since that is one of the few parts of a photo that is searchable :))

Yes, I meant Title. I am trying to use tags to make photo's easier to search for - not too good at it yet, but am trying. For example, for the photo's in Badlands National Park, South Dakota I added a tag "badlands".

Another minor request for the bulk uploader - when you go through the edit screens, can you add a box or option to delete a photo (or am I the only one who makes mistakes?) Of course, uploading & deleting photos does no good for my monthly bandwidth quota, so I'd prefer not to have to do this - but am sometimes a slow learner. I really messed up last night (not travellerspoint error, an error learning to use the batch processing in Irfanview) and had to go through and edit the photo's so I could delete them later in the photo album.
