a friend is coming out to meet us in argentina for a month and wondering how much flights would cost

the dates would be mid august-mid september next year but wants to book it asap

any help with best budget airlines to fly with would be fantastic

fantastic, thats a really good starting point, really appreciate it.
has anyone else bought a return ticket from the UK (preferably glasgow but anywhere if a lot cheaper)
my friend was also thinking about getting a cheap flight to madrid or somewhere and doing the long flight from there

any suggestions??

When I bought my flights (open jaw) a few months ago Delta were by far and away the cheapest. However, they are discontinuing the Edinburgh to Atlanta leg now. Instead you have to go Edin/Glas - Paris - Atlanta - Rio/Bs As I think.
