On the 27th November I'll be arriving Bangkok and I want to travel all over Thailand, spend xmas and new years.
After that I want to go to a different country.
What do you suggest : Malaysia or Camboja? I was thinking in malaysia first but I've been searching a lot and it seems to me there isn't much more besides Kuala Lumpur...
I want to be back in bangkok on the 20th january.
Another question:lots of sites advice to confirm our flight back. Where should I do that ? directly at the airport or with the airline company that I'm using ( BA ) ?
Thank you all
I'm sure Cambodia would be worth a visit, but there is quite a lot more to (peninsular) Malaysia than just Kuala Lumpur! Here's a few things for you to go and research:
Perhentian Islands (lovely beachy islands)
Taman Negara (Rainforest reserve)
Cameron Highlands (Mountain range with cool clear air and tea plantations)
Penang (Old colonial hangout off the west coast)
Tioman (Another island, popular base for divers)
Melaka (Old capital, mix of Dutch, Portuguese and Islamic architecture)
Langkawi (Another holiday island, but look out for the monkeys)
...and that's without looking at Borneo.
Based on your date, i think you might not be able to visit the East Coast Islands like Perhentian or Redang Islands due to Monsoon Season.... Well, if you would like to visit Perhentian Island during Monsoon Season, you can try Mohsin Chalets...
Its is the only chalet which will be opened during the monsoon season. However, there will be irregular boat transfers due to lack of tourist.
