flora222 has indicated that this thread is about Spain

We will be travelling to Madrid on 21st of November to take part in an expo at the Palacio de Ferias. does anyone know of reasonably priced accommodation that has cooking facilities that we could rent for a week near this area?
most of the hostels seem to be in the centre of town, not what we want.

Hi Flora,

You can find some information on accommodation at the website of the Feria, www.ifema.es
Also it is worth trying to find accommodation in the barajas quarter, which is where the trade fair is located.
Anyway you should note that the city centre is well connected to the place where the exhibition is, as the metro runs through whole Madrid. It might even be nicer to stay in the city center to enjoy the Madrid nightlife...

Kind regards,

Loes

You can try at the Ibis Madrid Aeropuerto, which is in the same metro line as Ifema (where all the expositions take place). They don't have cooking facilities as far as I know, but the price is reasonable and they have oppened it some months ago.
Good luck!

There is underground networking all madrid. The 10 ticket multi trip is around 7 euros. So just have a look on the possibility of staying in town and then travelling 30 min by metro to the Palacio de ferias (it is pink line or brown one if I remember ook)
