short answer no.

there is a rail link, but the trains dont run during early morning, the buses arent an option either.

complete pain in the behind, you either have to stay at the airport, or get a taxi

No. The morning bus from glasgow gets there at 0530. This is one of the drawbacks of flying to and from Prestwick. It makes the flights cheaper but it's not actually anywhere near Glasgow in any real sense.

I'm afraid you'll need to get a taxi. Where are you going to Prestwick from?

from Glasgow centre prob. May abort the flight plan as I only paid a penny for the 0700 depature to a Baltic State country. Booked some more 1- flights back to stnadstead a few days later as another option if, once scoped out the airport if it doesn't look appealing to sleep in at night. Cheers

I live near Prestwick and the option most people seem to take is to stay in a bed and breakfast in Prestwick the night before and then make your way to the airport (it's only a short walk from the town). There's plenty of accommodation as it's an old seaside resort, so you should be able to get a room for about £20 I would think. Certainly this is a much cheaper option than getting a taxi as it'll cost somewhere approaching £50 from Glasgow.
