You can check its flight schedules online, but not make any bookings.

Quoting Vietnam Airlines

Reservation and purchasing

You can book through Vietnam Airlines' (VN's) telephone sale or at booking offices and its authorised agents.

Rhett,
VN Air is expensive, figure about $230 for that flight segment. You do have a few other options, but there are drawbacks to all of them. Jet Star flies SGN to SIN, then SIN to REP. Both fares combined are around $125, depending on date and advance booking. You do have to spend 1 night in Singapore. Air Asia flies HAN to KUL, then KUL to REP for about $100 combined. Again, you have to spend 1 night in KL. Your cheapest option is to fly Pacific Airlines; HAN to SGN, $56 with advance booking. One night in HCMC then the bus to Phnom Penh, takes about 8 hours and is $10. Sightsee in PP for a few days or take the bus to Siem Reap the next day for $6. You are in Siem Reap for less than $80, plus the cost of 2 nights accomodation, add another $15. This option takes several days but saves over $100.

It all comes down to time vs money. If you have several days to spare, you can save some money, if not fly VN Air direct to Siem Reap. PM me if you have any questions.

im also interested in the exact same route ... i cant seem to find any airlines (apart from VN Air) that take on this route .... the problem is i need to make some kind of booking soon in order to get my Vietnam Visa (you need to prove onward travel upon getting the visa) ... and i shall be applying here in Oz pretty soon, so kinda need to make plans quick sharp!

im flying into HCMC then plan to travel north to Halong Bay & Hanoi ... then my nxt port of call is Siem Reap ... should i just waste a day of my Vietnam trip and travel back to HCMC & fly from there to Siem Reap or maybe fly Hanoi - Phnom Pehn and make my way from thier via bus to Siem Reap?? ... anyone done any of these options?

Makka - As long as you're flying to Saigon, why not just get an e-visa instead (no onward proof necessary) - Yes, I'm sure, I did it in March. Just google for "visa on arrival vietnam" to get an agent in VN who will handle it for ya. Most people going to Cambodia leave from Saigon by bus/boat. There's no cheap way from N. Vietnam - just bite the bullet. Did you look at Bangkok Air/Siem Reap Airways? Visas for Cambodia or Laos can be purchased at the border or airport (Vietnam is different).

E-visa works like this: they send you an email with a JPEG image of the Approval Letter from VN Immigration, you print it, show it to your airline, and when you land you walk over to the Visa desk (on the left), pay $25., fill out a 1 page form, give them pictures, and they attach the visa to your passport. Really simple.

thanks man, super helpfull ... im allmost in shock - i phoned the vietnam embassay in Sydney as i was initially looking to get my visa prior to landing in Vietnam, and they quoted me $70 !!!! ... what a joke!!

i used www.visa-vietnam.org to fill out the application form, full name, passport number, date of entry and exit .. has anyone else used this website, it came up top in a google search so i guess its legit!

will also look into leaving from Saigon, ... will i have to prove im leaving when i get to the Virtnam Airport ... i.e book a bus ticket in advance and print that off ??
