Can anyone tell me anything about Madagascar? Like is it nice there, what can you see and do there , is it good for nature photography?

We are planning to go to Southern Africa next year and thinking if we can go there as well. Is it worth a visit ? What's the best and cheapest way to get to there etc.

Oh why didnt you say before Shai??? I have just returned from a 3 month trip there!
Bin South Africa and go there, its fantastic!!!
Excellent wildlife, fabulous beaches, amazing scenery and chocolate cakes to die for!!
Cheapest way is from Jo'burg. Apx £500 return. Flying from UK is about £1200 return. depending when you go. Not as cheap as some other African countries but still cheap.
I am in the process of updating the travel guide so take a look!

You could try Flight Centres web site and see what deals they can do for you. Depends when you are going. £500 was back in May. I decided to take in Seychelles and Mauritius while I was there so did a round trip (not cheap but cheaper than visiting from UK).
Seriously though, if you want to do Mad, do it as a single trip. I spent 3 months and it was not nearly enough. Doesnt help when you fall hopelessly in love with the owner of the bar, but thats another story
I would stick to your Africa trip, and do Madagascar another day. I cant remember how long it is you have got, but Mad is BIG! You will need a few weeks at least just to get a taster, and the infrastructure sucks. I am going back in December if you want to join me!!!

would love to join you baluba but haven't got spare money for that lol.

Is the reason why you are going back in Dec to do with the owner of the bar? ;-)
