Have you ever bumped into somebody famous when you least expected it (not that you probably ever expect it, unless you're a mad stalker).

I was walking along Guildford High Street on sunday, and just happened to bump into, and have a brief chat with Thaksin Shinawatra, the recently ousted Thai prime minister. It seemed like an odd place for our paths to cross, and I think he was surprised to be recognised. He was more than happy to have a chat and shake hands though.

Let me tell you my little story.
I was sitting every early morning in the cockpit of my sailboot fishing, and since a few days a older men,his head covered with a big hat was rowing a little local boat along, also fishing and so we waved to each other friendly.
I could see that this men was not one of the local fishermans.
One evening I was with friends out for dinner and at the next table I faced the men from the fishing boat,so first I was not sure.I said nothing to my friends, was just looking at the men tried to figure out where I know him from. When he smiled at me and gave me a little waeve with his hand it hit me.this was the fisherman.
It was Sir Peter Ustinov !the famous actor, writer and more.
I did not get up to ask for an autograph from him,I still said nothing to my friends,
and the next day we waved to each other as the days before.

I hung out with an Egyptian Basketball player in Cairo, Hashem Abbisayriayo (I can't remember how its spelled). We met him through an awesome Canadian chick that we met in Nairobi waiting for our cab to take us to the airport to go to Egypt. It turned out she was on the same flight and he was picking her up at the airport. When we arrived, he sorted our taxi for us, found us a hotel for the night, and then took us out to dinner with our Canadian friend to his favorite local spot (we ate the best pigeon in Cairo). On top of that, he did all my shopping for me in the Khan-al-khalili to make sure I got the Egyptian price! That was truly special. We stayed in the hotel above El Fishawi's and every night people would ask us know we knew him after seeing us with him in the Khan when we first arrived. I really don't know how famous he was, but everyone there seemed very impressed.

Who did you play Utrecht?

Samuel L. Jackson was in this little nightclub in Sydney one night that I also happened to be there. He was surrounded by bodyguards and a few female companions, and even did a spot of dancing.

That's pretty cool; watched many a game of many a player listed here. Sadly darts is not on tv a lot in Norway (unlike the Netherlands these days!).

WELL on Saturday my friends and l were sitting in Temple Bar having lunch and a few glasses of wine - when Louis Walsh (of X factor fame and manager of Westlife!) wanders by and into the restaurant that we were sitting in. So we myself and one of the girls decide to go up and join him - which we did - and he was lovely really chatty!

Met a few Snooker players, Ken Doherty (played him in my local club), Jimmy White, Alex Higgins, Steve Davis, Ronnie O Sullivan... Funny thing is I didnt meet any of them at tournaments. Meet them in Nightclubs or Bars.

Met a couple of Dart players too, spent a couple of days on the beer with Eric Bristow. We were staying in the same hotel in Dublin.

Met a few Jockeys, Kieran fallon + Charlie Swan might be the only 2 names known to anyone.

Met most of the Munster/Irish Rugby players... Then again they are only famous here.

Oh and I met Beyonce in an all nude sauna yesterday.(or was that a dream)
