I sat next to Suzanne Sommers on an airplane and met John Ritter on the Maid of the Mist Boat in Niagra Falls. But that was as far as my brush with Three's Company went. Never did get to meet Mr. Furley! And a couple of year's ago we sat next to Samual L. Jackson in a restaurant in Cape Town with his little Cape Girlfriend. I always think of her when I see him with his wife on TV at the award ceremonies.

Met Malaysia's ex-prime minister some years ago in Bintang Walk, Kuala Lumpur. Spotted him as he walk pass Planet Hollywood cafe (he was walking opposite my direction with 7-8 people). Walk up to him and uttered 'thank you' and shook his hands his hands was clammy and soft. I suppose some of them must be his bodyguards, but they weren't trying to stop me.

Saw John Cleese at a market in Budapest a few years ago. That was kind of unexpected. I think we may have scared him off by staring at him hehe

Some British soap star was at the same resort we stayed at in Fiji last year. Can't remember her name or her show, but we had some kava with her boyfriend. Apparently she is fairly well known. Some medical soapy...

I met another former soap star a few years ago and helped her edit her show reel. Again, can't even remember the name or the show, but it was a fairly prominent one in the UK. I think she was a teacher. She was coming back to Melbourne so needed to get some work. I've seen her a few times on tv since then.

I also once filmed an interview with Bob Jane - a local racing legend who then went on to start a massive Australian tyre chain.

Missed out on helping with a Jet video shoot ... had to edit it instead.

I'm at Celtic Park quite a lot and being a lucky bugger I get to go through the main entrance; there's always celebrities and well knowns kicking about. I said hello to Bobo Balde not long ago (not a shock cos he was playing for Celtic) and congratulated him on a great game (probably coming across as a bit of a tw*t), I've seen Russell Brand, Billy Connolly, John Reid (the former Home Secretary; soon to be Chairman of CFC) oh and whats-her-name who owns the Ultimo Bra company. I didn't know who she was but someone pointed her out.

Well I haven't met him but I've seen him around because he lives around the same city as I do, I've seen Giles from Buffy randomly walking outside Pizza Hut once lol, 'twas interesting. My friend was in a dance class with his daughter too and my other friend lives in the same village as him and sees him regularly.

I was lucky enough to sit in on an interview with Donald Woods at the BBC worldservice when I was younger.

Other than that I saw the lanky one who wrote the office with Gervais in Soho and Helena Bonham Carter looking very pale and pregnant in Covent garden (this was my favourite seeing as she was top of my idol list!)

As I do interviews for radio, I have met a couple of famous people. I think that Jan-Ove Otteson (from Norwegian Band: Kaiser's Orchestra) was the nicest guy of them all. Also an encouter with Toumani Diabaté was really special, as he talked about making music in Mali and Africa, and talked about his late friend Ali Farka Touré. Toumani is an impressive personality, to who you can listen for hours.

One of the weirdest was an interview with Paolo Nutini. He was stoned, drunk and talked with a really heavy Scottisch accent, and when you mix that all together ... you can imagine that I could hardly understand what he said. I was doubting if my english was completely rubbish or not. I heared an interview a day later, that was the same, and you could hear the presenter trying to figure out what Paolo was saying.
