Free flu shots in Montreal

If I have a BC care card in Montreal can I get a free influenza shot for my winter trip in Europe?

I know many of you will think health care is a product to be sold, but I know others will try to help.

Thank you

Do you get cold often?
Rather than jabs (that usually don't work until the strain has already been identified) eat a healthy diet - lots of fruit & veg along with some exercise. Most of the people i know who have had flue jabs end up worse off than those who don't.
Don't hand the money to a pharmaceutical company, give it to a fruit & veg grocer and farmer.

Sorry Sandy, but with all of your recent threads, including this one, I am of the mind that your intentions are not strictly of a personal nature but probably those of writing and/or contributing to a travel guide of some sort. I know this subject was mentioned by one of TP's Administrators in one of your other Montreal-based threads. Your non-response to that comment and suggestions made tend to reinforce my above opinion. Also, you post questions but never return to comment (in any way) to the information that has been provided you by the friendly and helpful members of Travellerspoint. (Personally, I consider that just plain old bad manners.) Because of this, I think you will find the number of helpful responses dwindle quickly.

As for your question - being a citizen of British Columbia and have a BC medical card, you should know that any medically-based expenditures you encounter will be reimbursed to you once you return to BC and file the appropriate paperwork. If you are looking for a list of free clinics in Montreal, Toronto and anywhere else in Canada, try doing a search. I did and found someone has been asking the same (as in identical) question about free clinics in Montreal as you have asked here. The question has to do with having a BC card and finding a free clinic in Montreal for a skin problem.

Coincidence? I think not...

I am not writing for any travel site. I am simply trying to gather information, resources, and maximize my personal travel knowledge base. I Google many of the topics I post about, but Google is not a person, and people's link recommendations, and personal advice are often more valuable.

And I do respond to threads, just not all of them because I am constantly traveling. That is why I thank my responders in advance.
