Hey

Im going to be spending about 3 weeks in Italy in early feb, I have hotes booked in Venice, Rome and Florence but am finding it difficult to get travel between those places.

Does anyone know if I cn just get train or bus tickets when I arrive in Italy? I eally want to go by train or bus so that I can see diffeent pats of Italy as I go.

I found websites that do like 14 day trave passes but im not sue if they ae reliable and will let me travel on the dates I need to ect.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hi Bizzles,

You should be able to get train or bus tickets one or two days in advance or even on the same day...no guaranty though ;)

Mayby you'd like to check some links:

Trenitalia.it - check that out also.

You will have absolutely no problem getting between those cities in a matter of hours. There are regular daily services. :)

Am in Italy at the mo, and not booking trains til a day before I go, or even on the day, there's no problems. Passes can work out more money then just booking indiviual tickets, unless you are making really big journeys (like from one end of the country to the other.... and that wouldnt make sense....just go down (or up) in a reasonable order)
