Hi

I would like to know how to get from Berlin to Quedlinburg by train, because I donĀ“t know where is the railway station, and how to get information about the trains' schedule, and prices too.

Thanks

Catarina

Most trains leave from the main station Berlin Hauptbahnhof, for the price and the timetable check here.

Hope this helps,

Steff

Since there are still railway strikes it might be sensible to use the bus:

http://www.berlinlinienbus.de/pdfs/harz.pdf

The bus leaves daily at 8 am from Berlin ZOB. On Tue, Thu, Fri and Sun it goes straight to Quedlinburg, on the other days it goes to Wernigerode. From Wernigerode you can connect to Quedlinburg with the narrow-gauge HSB historical steam train or by private HEX-Connex train. Ask at the train station in Wernigerode.

Since connection by bus back to Berlin is bad exept on Sundays, you might want to stay at the Youth Hostel in Quedlinburg overnight.

Please note:

There will not be any strikes on Monday, Oct 29th so the normal DB trains should run.

The private Connex-trains are also not affected by the rail strike. The Connex trains also run directly between Berlin and the Harz region (ie Quedlinburg) on Saturdays and Sundays.

On how to get to the train stations or the ZOB bus station in berlin, use http://www.bvg.de/.
Train stations you can use with DB trains are Hbf, Ostbahnhof and Zoo.
