Well its been two years since I went on the most amazing travelling trip around the world and I think i'm well over due another one!
Unfortunatly I can only do a long holiday this time due to lots more responsability!
I am flying out to Bangkok in Jan and have 4 weeks to visit Laos and Thailand, due to the short time I have I want to make the most of it.
I'd really appreciate any reccomendations you have! I've been to Thailand before and went to Ko Samui, Krabi and the Kao Sok National park.
I have no idea about laos but hear that its such an amazing place so again any advice on the best places to see in a short time scale, i'd love to hear it!
As you have already been to southern Thailand I suggest you consider traveling to northern Thailand and then into Laos. REMOVED

Id say either head north to Chang Mai & Pai then go to Laos asap!!
There is a village north of Luang Prabang called Muong Noi (spelling is prob wrong)
Its quiet but amasing!! Stay a couple of days there then head down to Luang Prabang to see some waterfalls then Vang Vieng for Tubing. Miss out Vientiene if you can its rubbish but you may have to go there to catch a coach to Bangkok (Just dont plan too long there because there is really nothing to do) then back to BKK for home!!
Do the islands and fly to Laos
Have a good trip!!!!!!!!
