I'm looking for cheap flights to India (preferably Delhi) from England (preferably Manchester or Birmingham).
I want to fly in early Jan 08. The flight prices I am getting are around £400 to £500 for return and oneway. Does anyone know if this is the average price or whether I can find a better deal?
I only want a oneway flight, but sometimes returns are cheaper so I could get that and just not use the return part.
Also, does anyone know if I will have any problems getting a visa for India or entering India without proof of onward travel? I have a UK passport.
It's the most expensive time of the year to fly there and surely the most popular one, so don't wait to long booking your flight, prices might go up every day from now.
Condor has one way flights for 299 euro from Germany to Goa, that's about 200 GBP. Excluding taxes!
For example from Frankfurt. I guess you should be able to find a one way Manchester to Frankfurt flight for around 50 GBP as well, so it works out to be much cheaper.
Also, check airlines like Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi Airlines and Turkish Airlines, they might have good options as well. Turkish Airlines has flight from the UK via Istanbul to India, so maybe you might want to check out Istanbul for a few days as well.
To give even more options, try Jet Airways.
