Hi all,

i'm looking to get a credit card in the UK for use when travelling in Australia....does anyone have any recommendations? I will be travelling for 6 months and do not require a balance transfer, it will be for purchases only. I am looking for one with decent months 0% interest and good rates for using abroad i.e. no/low fees for currency conversions etc!

Thanks

Look into Nationwide as they dont charge for withdrawals abroad. Its the Flex Account but thats just a current account i think.

Nationwide and Post Office are the 2 you need mate! You can load the PO one before you go avoid all thye charges!

nationwide is the way to go. i have both credit and debit cards with them. good service and internet banking is helpful to have. no overseas fees as someone else mentioned is a huge draw for travellers

Again, Nationwide current account-free withdrawals abroad and internet banking facility or Barclays travel card cos u can pre-load it with currency before u go and use it as a debit card.
