nomad007 has indicated that this thread is about Brazil

I am itchin to get to south america and have about 3 weeks in december that i can take off to go exploring. I am not into the city scene but backcountry places where it is serene and quiet and can play with my photography. Can anyone suggest an itinerary, doesnt have to be brazil, could be peru or chile. I am a minimalist and travel light and am looking for the shoestring traveling. just want to see some cool stuff, thanks

PATAGONIA!!!!

Bring warm clothes, though.

Check out my profile to see a couple of pictures I took down in Patagonia and the lake district.

Bolivia / Peru has some great places for photography as well - Machu Pichu, the Inca Trail, Isla del Sol.

Punta Tomba Penguin reserve is awesome and delivers a 'national geographic' experience.

And one of nature's marvels, Igaucu Falls
