Hello, I will be in Phuket for the next couple of weeks. I will mainly be spending time at a Mixed Martial Arts camp, but would also like to do some diving. Can anyone recommend any good spots. I've heard Phi Phi is nice, but it might be out of my budget to stay there. Anyone have any idea how much a budget room is there? Is it feasible to just do a day trip there from Phuket, or do you really need more time? Anyway, thanks for the suggestions and if anyone is going to be in Phuket and wants to meet up for a drink or something, let me know. Peace.
a little suggestions.
1. Anyone have any idea how much a budget room is there?
plese visit krabi phi phi hotel price
2. Is it feasible to just do a day trip there from Phuket ?
yes, it is by boat visit Boat Schedule Phuket - Phi Phi - Phuket
The cheapest place to stay on phi phi is the Rock Backpackers Hostel. walk towards the start of the climb for the view point and u cant miss it. it is shaped like a boat in a tree!!!! i stayed there a few days b4 the tsunami but i am pretty sure it is still there as i have heard of people talk about it since then. the only problem is there is no website and you will not find it anywhere on any booking sites or anything, u just have to turn up. i was paying about 250 baht per night for my own tiny room, which is cheap for phi phi, especially if u are travelling alone.
in phi phi you can bargain with local tour guide for accomodation.. last time i paid USD10/night for backpack room at green house...very simple room with bath...not sharing.. that was sometimes last year april...
taking boat from phuket and when you goin down from the boat at phi phi, the local will be offering you their chalet rooms...
hey all, i've been on phi phi for a week now and have been loving it. i stayed at the rock for 200 baht a night. thanks for the recommendation. the phi phi leh sunset tour was nice too.
