Authentic, non-touristy specialty Catalan, or other Spanish cuisine for under $10E in Barcelona?

I'm looking for a list of recommended restaurants, cafes, hole in the walls, and tapas bars serving authentic, specialty cuisine for a low, reasonable price. 10Euro is the cut off price. Remember, I'm not including drinks. 10Euro just for appetizers, entrees, and/or deserts. OK, where are these probably extreamly popular restaurants, and what dishes do you recommend? Thanks in advane for your suggestions.

Check some bars out of the city centre. Take the metro to plaça de sants stop for example, or espanya stop, and then just wander around. there are many places which offer a menu for around 8-9 euros both in midday and at dinner time. Sometimes they include some typical stuff, but they WON'T apeak english. However, it could be what you're looking for.

Are you talking about the menu de la dia, where they give choices, drink, desert, bread. I tried that in Exiample, and was disappointed. Raviolli, french fries, and Oily crepe pocket things with gooey artificial cheese. The desert? A plastic cup of caramel cream. 7.80e.

Even writing about it hurts me. And this place called itself something Tapas bar on C. Airbau

The Eixample is still a touristy zone. Aribau, Mallorca, Valencia, Gràcia, Rambla Catalunya,... all these places are frequented by tourists, so they are oriented to tourism. I'm not talking about Tapas bars etc, these are tourists traps lol. Just take the metro to the outskirts and see if you find a place where you can try REAL food, but for 8 euros u cant ask for much really, Barcelona is ebcoming expensive.
