I'm currently in london and looking to travel for a week (around 16th-23rd Jan)in Europe before I head home.
I want to spend a couple of days in Prague but need suggestions about where else to go. whats the rest of czech republic like in Winter?
I havent been to Switzerland, Austria, Poland or Croatia either so they are other possibilities. Im open to any suggestions tho..

The Czech Republic is a cold place in winter, but beautiful as well. Besides Prague you could visit Karlovy Vary, Kutna Horá, Cesky Krumlov, ... They could all be done as daytrips from Prague.
I've been to these places, the other coutnries you mention I mean, you should be more specific on what you're looking for because you can't cover all this in a week.
yeh i was more wondering if these other places were worth a visit in winter or if its better in summer. I'm only going to see 1 or 2 of the countries listed but i was wondering which ones are the best ones to visit in winter.
Im thinking the czech republic for 4-5 days and a couple of day somewhere in switzerland..
C. Republic will be better in the winter, it's too crowded during the summer. I think some spots of Poland could be the same, not the winter ski resorts, but cities like Krakow, etc... I love Switzerland btw, it should be a good trip, but I've ony been there in summertime
Czech Republik is great in winter, it is an inexpensive skiing spot (inexpensive compared to Switzerland and Austria). If you love to ski, get yourself a place in the mountains near the national parks for a few nights. It doesn't matter where.
I personally have been to Cesky Krumlov and have found it beautiful. But then I was there in summer, and found that river rafting there was one of the best things I ever did.
