You can get more info on visa requirements with Google, this sample if from when I used "Visa requirements worldwide by country." Link: http://projectvisa.com/regiondisplay.asp?regionname=asia

In general I find that (except for Hong Kong) most of the Communist countries require that you pay for a visa, many of the rest are mostly free. Not all countries can get a 30 day visa stamp in your passport for Thailand. UK, EU countries, the U.S. Canada - no problem though.

In Bangkok you can get visas for other countries pretty easy. I think Cambodia has a visa you can get via the internet now. Most of the non-Communist countries have visa permission stamps or visa on arrival at the airport.

In the U.S. I got my visa stamps in my passport from the Vietnamese Embassy, the Lao Embassy and the Cambodian Embassy by sending my passport in the mail ahead of time. For some Communist counties you can get some visas on arrival but you have to check beforehand.

Good luck.

Hi,

Thailand 30 day visa upon arrival
Cambodia visa upon arrival

Organise your Vietnamese visa in Bangkok - its cheaper and it should only take a day from the embassy...
