Whats going on? Its only November!

Suddenly, this weekend, it seems that everything has upped a gear in the run-up to christmas. More tv ads etc. I even heard "Slade" somewhere.

And just to top it off....Its been snowing for the last hour and a bit here in Sheffield. We've got about an inch. Beautiful but quite unusual.

So now I've got that horrendous song in my head "it's beginning to look a lot like christmas..." Again.

Clara

Global Monitoring Division conducts research on the depletion of the global stratospheric ozone layer and Antarctic ozone hole through global surface-based monitoring of total-column ozone, ultraviolet radiation, and ozone-depleting gases, including those regulated by the Montreal Protocol. Continued surveillance is necessary in order to verify the expected recovery of the ozone layer.

It hasn't snowed by us yet, though snow is in the forecast for tomorrow - which is also the busiest travel day for the Thanksgiving holiday. Just north of us saw snow flurries last week but nothing stuck to the ground. It can hold off as I'm in no rush to be shoveling the stuff out of the driveway. Hey Rob - since you like snow, can I call you to come over and shovel??

Dang - snowing here this morning! All wet and mushy stuff. It's supposed to turn to rain later, which will just make everything worse.
