*Sigh...* The good ol' days.

Indeed. All we need now is the return of the sadly departed MTL3, Zags, Steff (Bluewaav), iloveflyin, the odd case of Ian, the two (three?) Rachel's, Tam (the other one), Leah, Biscuits (?), WeeJoe, plus, I suppose, Anne and CC and one or two others, plus the loss of a number of these new upstarts who have come in and taken over the damned place. Then we'll be back on track.

Off-topic was not really active until the joining of the new wave of regulars

I'd dispute that a bit. Whilst they undoubtedly helped, Off Topic basically exploded into life because of the efforts and constant new posts of the long since departed Wocca. I think he single handedly was responsible for upping the post rate on OT by a good tenfold or so. He was starting 5-10 new posts a day, and people started replying more and more.

And Sole, great to hear from you. I remember replying to one or two of your Japan posts last summer, but not heard anything since. Seems that all went well though!

I wouldn't dispute that fact. He started it in December 2004. But I don't want to be reminded of him. A dark episode.

Gelli, great seeing you again as well and yes, Japan went extremely well. One of our best trips ever, would love to go back but don't really want to think about the cost Last time we were lucky and got tickets for less than third of normal price, suppose I can't be that lucky again. My son loved it, seeing all those castles etc. that he's been reading about for so many years, that was amazing. Everything went well, no problems, no hassles, great transport, cheap food and hotels, but could have used a lot more time.

This summer we really should meet when you have a stopover in Copenhagen, I've already sat outside caf├ęs several times this year, enjoying the sun and the cold beers!!!

Absolutely.

Been a crazy few months, but that finished yesterday and i should be back out on the road and travelling allot again very shortly, meaning many passes through KBH. We'll have to arrange something in a couple of months when the weather is really starting to get good again. We can probably even persuade Sam to drop by for the day as well.
