Quoting tway

How'd it go, Mikey?

Well Tway, I must say, you are quite the culinary genius. The meat cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious!

Only one thing I will change next time - the dish was too garlicky - one clove would have been plenty (I used two)

Dang - I meant to tell you to leave the cloves whole and just let them roast with the rest. That way you get the nice flavour of garlic, but not that overwhelming garlicky taste.

Glad to hear it went over well! I'll let my friend know. I've watched him make it, but I've never actually done it myself. It was delicious and simple, so it's a good recipe to have in your back pocket.

So - when are you going to cook for us TPers, hmm?

Crushing garlic still good - it's a very healthy vegetable. Plus it keeps away vampires.

And no, I'm not flirting with you! I've seen the pic of your lady friend - she could cone me flat in an instant. I just think it's a good excuse to get us all to Scotland. Plus free food is the best kind. And Isa would bring martinis. Although Hien would be stopped at the border with those Durians. All in all, though, a good time would be had by all.

Hmmm . . . good comeback.

Alright, how's next Wednesday for everyone?

No problem - we'll be there. What's on the menu???

Isa wanders off to find the extra large travel pitcher for the martinis...

I'm thinking beans on toast. Or possibly Spam lightly sauteed in ketchup and served with deep fried potato chippings.

I'll bring poutine and maple syrup (although I wouldn't pour the latter on the former).

poontang and maple syrup!?! I should certainly hope there will be no pouring of the latter onto the former.
