we are backacking in india (in kerala at the mo)over christmas and although all of the guides are very helpful and we have had somegreat tips - there's not much written about what to do/where to go in the month of Dec or around christmas time!

you can visit Gulmarg in Jammu Kashmir and enjoy skiing. skiing at Gulmarg usually begins around the mid of November and goes on till the end of March.
