I am happy that India has finally woken up to the dangers of AIDS and started distributing free condoms at many places, though not of the best quality. ;)

No price issues involved here if u can stock up as per ur requirement:)

Hairdressers often charge a higher price for women.:(
At least here in Germany many of them have started to charge by if hair is long, medium or short rather than by gender. :)
But one way or another I end up being discriminated against. My hair is almost to my ass . Solution: Who needs haircuts anyway. I just dont cut it anymore.

When I lived in London the boyfriend I had at the time used to complain because ladies get into some niteclubs for free and men have to pay. Well we have to have some advantages I say, since the bulk of the sex discrimination is and was against women.

If you want to pay $10 and get the quality of haircut that I get for that amount of money, you are quite welcome. But somehow I think that most women would be willing to pay more and go for better quality with a bit of pampering chucked in.

But stuff haircuts and nightclubs, here in Australian women can get the pension at 60 whereas men have to be 65. Now that's discrimination.

Why is the retirement age younger for women?

Gotta agree with the last point James made - should be equality all around.

What about the over taxation on fuel in the UK by the government. I nearly had a shock at the petrol station on Tues when l went to fill my car - diesel was £1.09 a litre!!!!!!!! And l get my fuel paid for as l drive a company car and it still shocked me. I know world oil prices will have an effect but Mr Browns Government is still taking a huge big chunk of taxes on fuel too.

(l know there is a counter arguement about the effects of CO2 and the global warming situation therefore the increased taxation is a welcome deteriant, but that aint what this thread is on!!!!!!!)

No idea why the pension age is different, but it's doubly bad seeing that men tend to die younger than women.

What about tax?

Not only does a higher income earner pay more in tax than a lower income earner in raw dollars/pounds, but they also pay a higher percentage of their gross wage in tax. What a joke!
