WE leave sydney on the 31st May - get into London at heathrow at 630 1st june - pretty sure we might stay in london for a week first up
do the double decker bus
go to tower of london
go to madam tussads
do the london eye
do the jack the ripper tour
see the changing of the guard
does anyone know if they have a monopoly tour - ie you can take photos of all the street names that are in monopoly??
do a cruise on the thames
go to the globe theatre
seea musical on the west end
see big ben

am i leaving anything out that is a must see??

then onto paris via eurostar for three nights in paris - maybe four

go to disney land.. so theres a full day gone
see the eiffel tower
go to the louvre\
go to the moulin rouge
see the arc di triomphe
champs elysee
and versailles
im sure there is a bus tour liek the big red buses

then onto venice - probably only 1 nights in venice
see glassblowing gondola cruise... walk around see doges palace

then onto rome2-3 nights
see coloseum treventi fountain spanish steps vatican maybe the catacombs but i dont think mum would handle that too well - so i geuss a general sight seeing tour would be a good thing to go on here...

see the leaning tower

then head back to london again...

hmm going to be a flying visit but hopefully we will get everything in that we want to see

any more ideas? any tips on where to stay? should we buy the london pass?

There's a monopoly board pub crawl, would that suit you? :)

You've only got about 2-3 days worth of stuff to do in London there.

I would use the rest of time to do a few slightly more off-beat things, for starters how about:

- Greenwich, to see the observatory, the park and the maritime museum (and the cutty sark if they've repaired any of it by the time you get here).
- Kew Gardens
- Museums! British Museum (lots of egyptian things), Tate Bankside (lots of modern art), Natural History and Science Museums.
- Hampstead Heath - for great views across London from Parliament Hill - and a pint in either Highgate or Hampstead villages. Highgate Cemetery tour.
- Take the DLR around docklands, see Canary Wharf etc.

When in Paris get a ticket for the BateauBus. It is a boat and u can get off and on whenever u like and it takes u to all the major tourist places that you want to see. Its the best way to get around Paris.

In Paris, try to see the Catacombs - plus Pere Lachaise Cemetery is a must.

I second a visit to Highgate Cemetery in London, too - it's a wonderfully creepy little place. Hauntingly beautiful!

if youre gonna go to the theatre dont buy the tickets straight from the hotel or something, you can get them much cheaper from outlets thru out the city... so dont just rock up, see the hotel sells them n think itll be easier, cos you can get em at half price in some places!
