I will be tarvelling Europe alone for 18 days in Sept 08. I am 23 and an officer in the US Army (won't tell anyone in Europe) but I will be travelling during my leave time from Iraq. I am looking for good nightlife, women and hostels, no real idea of where to start. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!:)

Go to Berlin.
I can recommend the Meininger's Hostel as well as the Heart of Gold Hostel. Helter Skelter and Mitte's Backpacker are near the Heart of Gold, they are cool too. For women and booze, go on the Pub Crawl.

Since you are in the US Army, you'll probably enjoy Berlin's history.

Another alternative would be the famous Oktoberfest in Munich. It will be from Sep 20th on. More booze than women, but the best beer in the whole world. Book your hostel/hotel early for these dates. (January is not too early.)

come to amsterdam, there are plenty of women (for a cost) and good night life... take the ultimate party pub crawl for €20, you get enough free drinks and entry into places that it pays for itself!

Women - Istanbul - love the Turks

Hostels: please don't have sex in the hostel - please dont as ill be travelling as well in the fall.

Nightlife - Berlin is the best you will find in Europe. And they have women.
go to the area called Orienburger Strasse - for the nightlife - NOT the women on the street as they all cost money there.

Berlin has a great nightlife, and i would highly recommend Oranienburger Strasse. there is also a pub crawl ther that pretty good for 10 euro. go to www.newberlintours.com.
Amsterdam is good too, and since your in the army i doubt you'll have the same amount of trouble as i did from the bums on the street.
Another place to go (that is much much cheaper for beer) Is Krakow in Poland, or even Prague in Czech Republic or Bratislava in Slovakia. Couldnt tell you about the women there though..but i hear in Prague they are beautiful...

My suggestion: Helsinki. (just stay away from the Stadium Hostel in the Olympic Stadium)

There are places like Ibiza, an island of the south east of Spain, there's a big clubbing / party scene there......just a suggestion. I haven't actually been so just from what i here and have read, but i do know that its very popular particularly for British.
