I certainly agree with House, and Hugh Laurie's transformation from his characters in Jeeves and Blackadder is remarkable.

Re the writers strike - does this mean that Lost has been lost? Ahem.

I'm resurrecting this ol' thread to praise Twin Peaks--which we watched till we went crazy with cabin fever over the holidays. Wow! How did I skip this in the 90s? Fantabulous. Now I've got to get my hands on the movie...

It´s all about LOST right now....I´m on the road, but LOST is everywhere. Just waiting for it to come back...and February seems ridiculous. I work in TV and I know that they can pull sixteen lousy eps together faster than seven months...I´t´s not even that I like the show these days...It´s that I HAVE TO KNOW...There are dozens of doors in this mysteries hallway, and I gotta know what´s behind ém

I download House and Californication and Dexter and watch them as I go.

And, an embarrassing admission...Because I was living in Colombia and the only real English language show I could get to see on tv was this, I love and know far too much about this show....I need to preamble it, because it is so embarrassing for a man to dig it....and I do....dig it.

I love the Gilmore Girls...THERE! it´s out! Love me for who I am, dammit!!

Has anyone gotten into the Wire? We got the first two seasons for xmas 07 and after watching the entire two seasons in about a week, ordered 3 and 4 which we proceeded to watch within the week after we received them too. Then we had to wait a few months till season 5 was out which then was also watched in a week or so. Now it's over forever

Anyway, that's obviously been my favourite over the past few years.

House is hilarious and Dexter is another one I'm into, but I watch those alone. They're on quite late and the missus never got into it.

But mostly trying to fill the void after the Wire. Wondering if maybe I should get started on the Sopranos?

Neal loves The Wire--I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I'll add it to the list... I feel the same about Twin Peaks--kinda sad it's over. :(

Well it is hard to get out of that phase, when they are doing re-run after re-run in the Netherlands. (I am surprised it hasn't been replaced by re-runs of MacGyver and Airwolf by now)

I watched Twin Peaks a couple of months ago, I think I have seen the complete series in about 7 days. I love Father Ted, and some of the other UK comedy-shows (e.g. New States Man, Young Ones, Blackadder, Monty Python, QI)

We've just finished watching series 3 of Dexter - I still loved it but it's not quiet as good as the first 2. And season 4 and 5 are in the planning stages - yay! :)
