Hi Mariz

I am going to Canada next year aswell. From what I have gathered, you will require a temporary working visa, can see info on Canadian high commission website for more details. You will not be authorised to work on a tourist visa. I will be arranging my visa through Bunac which will allow me to work when Im there.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any further queries.

You will need to get the visa sorted before you get there.
It is very difficult, if not impossible, to get a visa while you are actually in the country.
Its well worthit though, I loved Canada!!

You can apply for a Working Holiday Visa if you are between 18-30 yrs old. Apply before you come and it'll be super easy. Then you can work and travel. Once you are here, you can look for a job. Most people will not hire you unless you have an address in the town you are looking for work in. Service jobs are super easy. So if you want to head out to popular resort areas, you can find a job and accommodation in a day or two. But in major cities it can be harder to find work and accommodation.

Check out the Rockies, like Banff and Jasper, or Whistler out west. The Laurentians in Quebec is popular too.
