Hi,

Answering to your questions:

~ has anyone stayed at Olga's Place in San Sebastian? If so, how was it? :)

No, I have no idea where it is.

~ anyone going to be/been before in San Sebastian, Spain, for New Years?? ...is it good?

Before and after, I live in San Sebastian, but having small holidays I an going out for New Years. And yes, you have a lot of party oportunities depending what you are looking for. Personally I prefer the bars at the Old Town.

~ what is there to do in San Sebastian during the day, as well as nightlife?

You can visit a lot of things, also in San Sebastian and around the city, depending on the time you have.

Im writtin to you from San Sebastian at this moment

Olga Place is pretty famous here...

This city is all year round beautiful... but it gets sooooooo cold at night and even during the day all december... you just dont feel like going outdoors.

During the day the temperature is around 14 °C but by night it reaches 2 °C.

Though if you´re gonna be here around 21st december. There is a huge fiesta in Donostia. You shouldnt miss it.

Another thing you shouldnt miss is the view from Mount Ulgo (Its above onderreta beach).

Other than that, the Bars (Called Pintxo´s) in the Old part of the City (Parte Viaja) and the Grande Waves that splash along the walls next to the aquarium are sites that you should definately catch.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip. ;)

Hi Ricky,

Just for curious: where is it (Olga's Place)? If it is pretty famous, I suppose it is on the Old Town.

Yes, it is really cold right now, but it is supposed to be going better: 10 days prediction.

Santo Tomas, local rural party, is hold on December 21st during the day. It is a great party, a must for me.

The mountain is called Igeldo (or Igueldo), nice views from there. I also recommend a walk along the Urgull mountain, next to the Old Town.

Regards
