Just booked a trip to Greece for May '08...happy graduation to me!...I'll be going to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Ios, can't wait!

Also hoping to get to Vegas for a few days with friends and to meet up with past travelers in Feb. '08
And possibly a trip to Australia or Disneyworld later in the year

I'm going to New Zealand in Jan 08 - I have permanent residency and am going to be there for a while - yay!

While I'm there I want to visit at least one more pacific island (other than Fiji which I have been to) and Northern Queensland.

Lot's of great sounding trips coming up! Wow!

2008 for me will start off in March with a 6 week adventure through Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. Then in July I hope to get to Japan for the G8 Summit - not 100% sure if I can though. Then later in the Autumn hopefully Singapore.

Off to Barcelona in January for a few days.

Theres been talk of Stockholm/Amsterdam for a messy weekend, so maybe one of those two.

Then in June/July off on my mega long (hopefully) RTW trip starting in Thailand

In the meantime I'll be following my beloved Leeds United to such travelling hotspots as Doncaster, Swindon, Stoke and Yeovil

Well besides a weekend away or two (Manchester and Amsterdam hopefully) at the start of the year myself and my best friend are starting our RTW adventure in May...

at minute we are planning on visiting
Brazil (we are flying into Sao Paulo),
Bolivia,
Peru,
Chile,
Argentina,
Uraguay,
NZ (both islands),
Australia - we are planning to spend Christmas and New yr in Sydney.... ;)

... and the rest of it will be in 2009 (South Pacific, South East Asia)!! .. then home to Ireland

Sure we wil hopefully meet some fellow like minded travellers on the way!

xxx :)

I may be having a week in Los Angeles at Disneyland etc (yay! Love Disney ha ha) but it depends when the trip is planned for. If it is mid June then it is a yes.

After that I am hoping to head to England for an extended stay and possible move. My plan is to use it as a jumping ground to visit Wales, Ireland and Scotland.......and whatever other parts of Europe I can afford. France, Spain, Italy etc etc

Also, I may have a visit to Australia thrown in there. My family is in England and Australia so I think a visit to both places is called for.

Really --- I plan on travelling, I'm just not exactly sure where to.

I'm also starting 2008 away from home in snowy, cold Canmore, Alberta, Canada. What's with having Christmas and New Years in winter??!!??
Spending the first half of 2008 in Canada, hopefully making it all of the way to the east coast then on to Europe for a couple of years.
Maybe a quick trip to the sun in Cuba or DR might be needed to escape the winter first though

Greetings,

I'm a new member. In 2008, I'm hoping to hit Santiago, Chile and Cape Town. The Amazon sounds great, but I probably won't get there for a few more years!

Well I will be spending New Years even on a nice trip I planned. NYE in Copenhagen, then 3 days in Stockholm, then a week snowboarding in Norway before flying out of Oslo back to the USA.

The for my graduation gift, I'll be spending 40 days in Australia. Going from Sydney all the way up to Cairns, flying to Darwain, Broome, Perth, Red Center, Adelaide, Great Ocean Road, then eventually Melbourne...

Safe travels to all...
