Scotland for Xmas.
Wales for New Year.
January in Turkey working.
A week holiday in Ireland in February.

And hopefully the start of something new after that which could means anything really....

Mind you, nine years on the road is a long time, so may just have some home time, OR NOT !

Well I'm doing my first nice big solo trip. Hitting Western Europe on the cheap (yep, the usual spots too), for about 2 months Sept-Oct. Can't wait though. Already doing a lot of planning (and saving!) , because it's the big thing to look forward to now!

(PS: though I joined TravellersPoint a while ago, this is my first real post! So hello as well!)

I am off on the RTW beginning early April. I am 61 yo but for 6-7 months I am leaving life as I know it and will be 24 again, visiting ancestral homelands, graves of relatives sacrificed to Mars (WW1 & WW2) and seeking out a long lost love - sounds romantic??

Brisbane to KL is the first leg followed by Egypt, Greece, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Rep., Germany, Belgium, France, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Fiji, NZ. About seven months all told and two changes of clothes.

I hope to return a better, older and wiser man, inexorably changed. Hope to cross paths with many of you on the way.

Happy 2008 to all.

I'm going to be doing quite a lot of travelling (well for me) in 2008 because I'm finally finishing school, my A Levels, this June/July and I'm free to do whatever I want after that. So in July I'm hopefully going to go to Greece with my friends, then I will be going to Indonesia for around 7 or 8 months and then after that I will be doing some kinf od Architecture trip with my friend to some random country we're not sure about yet (fingers crossed for Italy!) and maybe Germany some time too, maybe. =)

Am going to Mauritius for a wedding in Jan 2008. Any must sees on the island? Anybody know if it is easy to get to Madagascar from there?
Cheers, happy holidays,
Lee
