The Bay Bridge in SF had a cable snap the other day so it's closed. Traffic this morning was HORRIBLE!!! Usually takes me 30 minutes to get to work. Took me close to an hour and a half. I hate traffic!

Phoenix Airport on Wednesday this week.
Why do the authorities always insist on training the cronies at the passport desks to be so unfriendly and miserable? They seem to have no smile muscles whatsoever, anywhere.

Blame it on botox. Oh wait, that gives everyone The Joker style perma-grin. Never mind. Oh wait (again). They live in Phoenix. That's it!

well, the right question would have been what didn't? the thing about being in a place where people are happy is that at times, one tends to be sad about it, jealous or something... cause you know that they are, and your not...

there are many times that even though you have everything that you need and you want, there will still be something missing in your life. something that may have passed you by or something that hasn't came yet...

and a possible offside too - absolutely appalling for Ireland to go out in this way, and it's for situations like this that video refereeing should be brought in.

Needless to say, I'm heartbroken on behalf of the Irish. Had the game been lost fairly, it would have been fine. There's no glory in winning by handball! We're a small country with population that's but a teeny fraction of France, yet our players have been sterling in their performance last evening.

I was torn going into these qualifying matches, because Ireland and France are both dear to my heart. I was sitting on the fence, outraged for both teams on the various infringements. Then came that handball. The looks on the faces of the lads were just devastating. :(
