Is there any way of writing reviews for the accommodation section? I think it would be really helpful if we could reach each others opinions of hostels before booking there, and add to it once we've stayed there.

Can we already do this, if so how? If not, does anyone else agree that it would be good if we could?

This has been frequently requested, and I know that at one point it was high up the todo list. Not certain what the status of this is right now, but I doubt it'll have been forgotten about. :)

I'd asked Peter about that in the summer, after we stayed at a great little place in Interlaken that we found on TP and I wanted to sing its praises. I'll keep my review in my back pocket!!

I'm glad there's such interest in this.

It is in fact actively being developed at the moment, along with a few other improvements to the accommodation section. Stay tuned.

That's great. I'll keep an eye on it then

I would love this - these days I' m reluctant to book somewhere unless I can read reviews from other travellers. I think it would encourage people to use the TP accommodation section if this was brought in.

Especially if you know the person reviewing the place is actually trustworthy, ie. hasn't signed up that day just to review the place. Ah, think of the possibilities....

Yeah that would definately make a difference. I always check reviews of places before I stay there - but there have been a few that read well and then I've arrived to realise that the reviews were obviously written by the staff to draw people in.... there's one particular hostel I would really like to review on here before other people have to go thru the same thing!

and likewise, it's nice to be able to spread the word about somewhere that was particularly good, like the place I stayed in Krakow recently.
