What is the worst present u were ever given and what did u do with it?

I just got the worst present ever.
3 garden gnomes.
At least it is Christmas so I can put them under the Christmas tree and they can be Santas helpers.

Once a friend complained at me that somebody had given her a boring book about roses and who would want a book about roses. I think she forgot about telling me because I got a book about roses from her for my next birthday.
Now I know what to do with those gnomes after Christmas. I will give them to her for her birthday.

A Barbie doll for Christmas when I was 16. I gave it to one of my nieces. Can't really say anything bad about my grandmother except maybe she wasn't wearing her glasses at the time she was wrapping presents or something....

16 is too old for a Barbie doll isnt it Redhaze?
I bet your grandma knew that and was just hinting that it is about time u provide a granddaughter and give her this Barbie doll.

I was once given a book on church architecture by my grandma, which would be fine, but I was about 10 years old and really more interested in space robots or something. In fact I still am more interested in space robots....

An old boyfriend was working at an electronics store part time one year. He asked what I wanted for Christmas. I I rattled off a litany of things and finished with, "I definitely do NOT want anything from the electronics store. If I need something electronic, I will buy it myself. I don't want it as a gift." I got a waterproof radio for the shower, a programmable kitchen timer that could time 5 different things at once, and an answering machine. (I had just purchased a new answering machine a few days earlier and as he was living with me, he knew it.)

Isn't that a bit too young to have kids? (I think so anyway)

Well, she's hasn't done that since my cousins (who were in their mid 20s and early 30s) started reproducing a lot, so I think you may have a point there. Now I get towels.

That's a hard one - probably different sorts of clothes that I'd never, ever wear. Stuff you have to fake a big smile for when you open the box. I feel horrible about feeling horrified, but...erk...
