I think that I have posted this before, but haven't got any replies. Does anyone out there know if its possible to get a visa upon entry into Dhaka, I have heard of the 15 day one but can not find any other info on whether you can just do a quick entry for two weeks. Otherwise its the big bucks for a visa...So .........please if anyone knows if it is possible just to get a short stay/two week transit visa......let me know......thanks ever so much!!

The following is what is written on a visa information site (applicable to Canadian passport holders):

Visa can be obtained upon arrival at ZIA International Airport
(Dhaka) for a max. stay of 90 days. Fee: USD 50.-.
However, it is strongly advised to obtain visa prior to arrival.

Visitor must:
-hold onward/return tickets, sufficient funds and all documents required for next destination; and
-not be a missionary or journalist; and
-not be a member of a voluntary non-governmental organisation.

thanks for the info...I guess I'll have to try and get one in Kolkata....ah well.:)
